How long has “Don’t Fret Pet!” been operating?
We commenced our service in Sydney in 1993 and have devoted ourselves to creating a very professional, caring service.
What sort of people become mobile pet minders for “Don’t Fret Pet!”?
We have a variety of pet minders ranging from mums to semi-retired people. The common element with our pet minders is that they all love animals.
Can I meet the pet minder beforehand?
Absolutely, they will meet with you in your home so that they can meet your pets and you can show them what is required during their visit. That way you can go away feeling totally comfortable that your home and pets will be in good hands.
How will I know that the minder will really look after my pets?
All of our pet minders are carefully screened by us but, as you will be meeting them in their home beforehand, you will also be able to make your own assessment. All pet minders have also been police-checked.
How much does it cost?
Visit our Fees page in your areas to see the fees for your area.

Can I check up on my pets while I’m away?
You are welcome to phone, SMS or email your “Don’t Fret Pet!” Pet Care Manager with whom you made your booking to see how your pets are going. We just ask that, if you do phone or SMS, it is at a reasonable hour.
What do I need to provide?
You should leave the food that your pets are used to eating so that there are no upset tummies because of a change of diet. If you need the pet minder to have access to your house to complete their tasks you will also need to leave a key.
What happens if my pet becomes ill or is injured?
We will take your pet to his/her regular vet. In the case of an emergency we will take him/her to the nearest vet. We will, of course, keep you up to date.
What safety precautions do you take when walking my dog?
When your pet minder walks your dog they will keep him/her on a lead at all times.
